Teenager Red Gerard made America proud when he won the first gold medal for Team USA at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
But the 17-year-old snowboarder's father made Cleveland proud when Browns fans noticed he was sporting a Browns hat at the Olympics.
Gerard and his family live in Colorado now, but they were originally from Rocky River. Gerard's dad's love for the Browns has caused a lot of excitement on Twitter, and has a lot of people commenting on Gerard's win as something his dad, as a Browns fan, may not be familiar with.
Red Gerard’s dad is a Browns fan so this is a pretty unbelievable moment for him.

Red Gerard's dad was shotgunning beers in his Browns hat at 8:30 a.m.
The Muni Lot comes to Korea (and ends with the odd feeling of walking out with an actual W)

Red Gerard’s dad was the first person in a very long time to celebrate while wearing a Browns hat.
