CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Cleveland Heights boys basketball team has been deemed eligible to play in the OHSAA state tournament.
On Monday, a judge ruled in favor of the team.
The OHSAA had disqualified the team after it played in a tournament in Las Vegas in December on a school day.
Cleveland Heights will now be the No. 2 seed in the Euclid sectional.
This is the second time in history a school has sued the OHSAA and the first time a school has won a lawsuit.
