The frigid, subzero wind chills and ever constant snow in Northeast Ohio over the last week can do little to boost morale. Just when things couldn't feel any worse, finding out a state, known for its arctic cold and heavy snow culmination, is warmer than Cleveland, can send some envious thoughts to The Last Frontier State.

Alaska is warmer than Cleveland—by a lot. Yes, you heard that right.

Current temperatures as of 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday reveal Alaska is at 42 degrees compared to Cleveland at a chilling 7 degrees.

So, if you're thinking of moving to Florida, Texas or California, go ahead and add Alaska to the list of states warmer than Cleveland.
