Severe weather could hit Northeast Ohio overnight

There is a chance that severe weather will hit Northeast Ohio while you are in bed overnight on Thursday.

There is a chance of heavy rain and gusty winds between midnight and 3 a.m. Friday morning. A few storms could be strong to marginally severe, according to News 5 Meteorologist Remeisha Shade.

Pea to dime-sized hail is possible.

The storm is being categorized as marginal in northeastern Ohio and slight in northwestern Ohio.

The storms will move out early Friday but temperatures will be cooler.
