The weather is expected to take a turn while you're watching the Super Bowl, so here's what you need to know for your drive home.
Highs in the mid-30s until 6 p.m. Sunday will cause slushy roads with a rain/snow mix. After that, the temperatures are expected to drop and freezing temperatures will turn the mix to snow. An expected 1-2 inches of snow will likely accumulate through midnight. The snow belt can expect to see closer to 2-4 inches of snow.
The timing of the snow will make the drive home from your Super Bowl party a little tricky, so be careful out there on the roads.
