Rain and some strong storms are expected to roll across Northeast Ohio late Thursday afternoon into the evening hours.
According to the National Weather Service, showers have already started spreading over the area and will strengthen throughout the evening.

Residents across the News 5 viewing area should expect the possibility of strong wind gusts, hail and heavy rain heading into the evening.
Thursday's high remains in the upper 70s with temps cooling off in the mid 60s.

The rain is expected to linger into Friday morning, according to Power of 5 meteorologists.
