CLEVELAND — Temperatures are expected to fall in the negatives this week which could mean your pipes are going to freeze.
Here are some things you can do to prevent your pipes from freezing:
- Drain water from swimming pool.
- Remove hoses used outdoors.
- Add insulation to attics, basements and crawl spaces.
- Look around your home to find other areas where water supply lines are located and add insulation.
- Consider installing a "pipe sleeve."
- Consider relocating exposed pipes to provide increased protection from freezing.
