CLEVELAND — Rain showers are rolling through the area this morning as a cold front moves east through Northeast Ohio, which could impact your morning commute.
Soaked... watch for a few downpours mixed in with this morning's rain. Those downpours are brief but will cause issues on the streets. #WEWS #GMCle pic.twitter.com/ujbdWPGCXn

Drivers heading out on the roads for your morning drive should expect a wet commute. Keep an eye out for a few downpours mixed in with the rain. While they are brief, they can cause issues on the streets.
Three things to keep in mind:
- Wet and windy a.m. drive
- Windy and cooler p.m. drive
- No rebound until the weekend
Give yourself plenty of time to get from point A to point B.
By the afternoon, lake effect rain showers will increase behind the front later this afternoon and through the evening.
The rain won't last all day, though. Expect temperatures to drop during your ride home.
