Authorities are investigating the shooting death of an 18-year-old man on Akron's west side Tuesday afternoon.
Around 2:45 p.m., police responded to the 600 block of Minerva Place for a reported shooting. When officers arrived they found the man inside a house with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man's identity is being withheld until next of kin has been notified.
The shooting is under investigation.
