FBI agents streamed into the European Adoption Consultants building in Strongsville Tuesday and left carrying away boxes of evidence.

Sources told News 5 that agents were executing a search warrant at the adoption agency.

Vicki Anderson told News 5 "We do have activity going on there. The matter is sealed, and at this time I cannot provide any additional information."

Last month, the State Department debarred the adoption agency. The feds accuse European Adoption Consultants of allegedly soliciting bribes – among other crimes.

One local family spent tens of thousands on their adoption process and now is stuck with radio silence.

The State Department debarred EAC for the next three years. On their website, EAC says they will be reviewing fees paid and will work with any new agencies to “transfer as much as possible.”
