Two teenagers have been detained after a reported armed vehicle robbery in North Olmsted.

North Olmsted Police said 19-year-old Taniqua Donay James was booked into jail under suspicion of aggravated robbery. A 15-year-old boy was transported to the Cuyahoga County Juvenile center.

Because the boy is a minor, he was not named. Charges against him are pending, said police.

Police said a man reported Tuesday morning that his 2015 red Dodge Challenger had been taken at gunpoint. Police found the vehicle abandoned near Lorain Road and David Drive.

The suspects were taken into custody after a short foot chase, police said. A loaded 9mm semi-automatic pistol was also recovered.

Donay is being held on $250,000 bond.
