A seven hour standoff at the Solon Club Apartments in Oakwood ended with one suspect in custody Friday night.
The male suspect was on the fourth floor of a seven floor building during a possible hostage situation.
Residents were not allowed in the building during the standoff, between the hours of 2 p.m. and almost 10 p.m. Anyone who left the building was not allowed back in and anyone already inside was told to shelter in place.
Residents say they were concerned about their pets while they were not allowed inside.
The male involved in the standoff was taken into custody and then taken to the hospital for a hand laceration.
