Teens from Montville Township were injured doing donuts over the weekend.

On May 27, a 15-year-old was driving a pickup truck with his Ohio Temporary Permit when he lost control in the parking lot of Whitetail Park.

The driver did not have another licensed driver over the age of 21 in the vehicle.

He had two friends, both 17, who were riding in the back of the pickup truck at the time of the crash.

The driver lost control at significant speed, striking a tree before hitting a park sign.

The truck continued across the parking lot, striking a second tree—ejecting both 17 years olds from the back of the truck and onto the grass surrounding the park's lake.

All three people involved were taken to Medina Hospital and released later that evening with charges currently pending.
