A 19-year-old man is facing charges after he allegedly caused a scene in East Canton Saturday — throwing chairs through windows at a McDonald's, and then jumping on two cars in the middle of the road, including a Stark County Sheriff's Department cruiser.

Video of the whole incident was captured by people in the area and posted to social media.

It all started around 9 a.m. at the McDonald's on Lincoln Street East.

Witnesses immediately noticed something wasn't right with the man. He reportedly became furious when he had to wait for a chicken sandwich and began tossing chairs and shattered four windows, according to a woman who witnessed the chaos.

When he left, videos posted to social media showed him standing on top of a cruiser that was occupied by a deputy.

He also jumped on top of an SUV and held on as the stunned driver attempted to get the man off the vehicle.

The suspect, later identified Jahmir Aahmad Williams, was charged with vandalism, assault and obstructing official business. He is being held on $26,000 bond.

McDonald's issued the following statement to News 5:

We’re very relieved that no one was hurt in this incident. We defer all other questions to the investigating authorities.

The Stark County Sheriff's Office has not yet commented on the incident.
