The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle n Wayne County.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. Sunday on State route 585 southwest of State Route 57 in Milton Township.
Initial investigation shows Eric Obloy was driving a black 2015 Yamaha FZ1-SC motorcycle and traveling southwest on State Route 585. At the same time, Peggy Mulidore was driving a 2001 Ford Expedition northeast on the same road.
Mulidore attempted to turn left into a gas station driveway. However, she failed to yield, causing the motorcycle to hit her car.
Obloy was pronounced dead at the scene by the Wayne County Coroner.
Mulidore sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash, but was not taken to the hospital. However, her two passengers were taken to Aultman-Orrville Hospital for minor injuries.
State Route 585 was closed for about three and a half hours after the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
