DETROIT, MI — A woman in Detroit decided it was the right time to experience a childhood dream of driving a police car. The only problem was the car was stolen and she ended up leading police on a chase that reached speeds over 100 MPH.

According to CNN, it all started when a Ferndale police officer responding to a call parked his car. That's the moment the 24-year-old woman hopped in the driver's seat and sped off. The chase saw the woman heading the wrong way into traffic and it all came to an end when she crashed into another vehicle.

She told police the reason she took the police car because she "just wanted to have some fun."

No one was injured in the crash.
