CLEVELAND — Cleveland Public Power crews responded to a power outage on Cleveland's West Side on Friday afternoon.
There were approximately 1,124 customers who were left without power.
Power Outage Update: CPP crews are currently responding to a power outage on the Westside affecting approximately 1,124 customers. We understand the extreme heat is an issue and are working as quickly as possible.

Crews were able to restore power to all the affected customers in Old Brooklyn within three hours.
Cleveland Public Power also responded to an outage that left 1,220 customers without power near Old Brooklyn.

Crews understood heat was an issue and worked as quickly as possible to provide restoration.

The Brooklyn Recreation Center closed Friday for the evening due to power outages. Visitors should call the center tomorrow morning for updates on the building's power status.
