Craving Raising Canes Chicken Fingers crispy chicken with Cane's Sauce and Texas Toast?
The chicken finger chain may soon be in Northeast Ohio to satisfy all your chicken cravings.
According to the City of Strongsville's Facebook page, a developer is seeking to rezone a vacant lot on Pearl Road to build the restaurant.
The land, at the northwest corner of Pearl and Pierce Drive, is currently zoned as an area approved for general business. To bring finger-licking-good chicken to Strongsville, the lot would need to be rezoned as an area approved for restaurant-recreational services.
Strongsville's City Council will vote on the request, but first referred it to the planning commission for review.
A public hearing will take place before a vote is taken later this summer or in the fall.
The restaurant has several locations in the Columbus area, including locations in at Polaris shopping center and The Ohio State University campus.
There is no current timetable for the Raising Canes to be raised in Northeast Ohio.
