When the weather outside is frightful, and you are hungry for something other than pizza, here are five businesses that will deliver food to your door.

Note: These services rely on their partner restaurants to keep the food moving, so it's wise to order early or call ahead to make sure the restaurant you want is staying open.

1. Clutch Time Deliveries: Based in Chardon, this service tweeted us to say: They're ready, with groceries and shoveling, too!

  • Where: Greater Cleveland area, including suburbs

5. GrubHub: Describes itself as "the nation's leading online and mobile food ordering company."

  • Services: Similar to Cleveland Eat 24 Hours 
  • Where: Mostly Greater Cleveland area, with a few Akron restaurants
