It's National Dog Day and we want to see pictures and videos of you with your canine companions.
According to NationalDogDay.com, the special occasion is celebrated on Aug. 26 each year and was started in 2004 by Colleen Paige, a pet and family lifestyle expert and animal advocate. Paige is also the founder of National Puppy Day, National Mutt Day and National Cat Day.
