Superhero fanatics rejoice -- today is Free Comic Book Day.
The event, now in its 15th year, is observed on the first Saturday of May.
This year more than six million copies of comics will be given away across the country at participating comic book stores.
Those behind Free Comic Book Day say the day is a celebration for one of America's oldest art forms.
