Southwest Airlines was hit with a power outage Friday morning, leaving customers to wait on delayed flights.
As of 7:20 a.m., Southwest said it had sporadic processing delays for three of its originating flights. The issue appears to be fixed, with little impact to the airline's operation.
A number of tweets from those waiting for flights flooded into Southwest's Twitter account. The airline responded to several inquiries, stating it appreciated everyone's patience and was working to get its system back on track.
One tweet regarding the outage said employees for the airline were seen handwriting the boarding list.
