Right now, Amazon is offering deals for its annual Prime Day.

This year, you have even more time to save, with Prime Day lasting a full two days for Amazon Prime members.

But some deals are worth it, others are worth waiting for, according to experts.

Starting with what to buy: the biggest deals are on Amazon brands with 30% or more off on their electronics. There’s also discounts on Amazon’s clothing lines and subscription boxes.

With Christmas just five months away, toys are another hot item. There are discounts of 30% off or more.

Prime day is also a good day to go grocery shopping.

Whole Foods is slashing prices on many items up to 50% off.

Here’s what not to buy: TV’s and gaming consoles. Experts say you’ll find better deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

You should skip luxury goods and high-end beauty products, as well. The deals aren’t that great on those.

They aren’t that great on school supplies either. Experts say if you can, wait closer to the start of the school year.

Don’t limit yourself to just Amazon, either. Best Buy, Macy’s, Walmart and Target are offering their own Black Friday in July promotions right now. Search around on other sites, because something you want may be cheaper elsewhere.

The Prime Day deals are only for Prime member, but here’s a little workaround: Amazon offers a 30-day free trial when you sign up for Prime. So do that, and set a reminder on your phone to cancel the subscription before you’re charged.
