Which pharmacy sells your prescription drug at the lowest price? This app helps you find out.

Posted

There's a website that is helping consumers find prescription drugs at the lowest price in their neighborhoods.

A website and app called GoodRx helps people find the pharmacy near them with the cheapest price for the prescription that they need.

Since drug prices are not regulated, the cost of the prescription can vary among pharmacies. According to the website, users can enter the drug's name in the search field, and click "Find the Lowest Price" button. From there, it will populate pharmacies near their location based on zip code.

Popular pharmacies such as Walgreens and CVS appear on the website as options to get a prescription filled.

Once the list of stores appears, coupons for the drug will also populate. They are accepted at most pharmacies across the country.
