We have a correction on a story we aired last night on News 5 and published on our website.
We reported on a national trend of medical students graduating early to help doctors treat patients. In that report, we stated that Case Western Reserve University was graduating medical students early to treat the pandemic. The university tells us this is not true. Though some medical staff, faculty and students are volunteering to assist in the treatment efforts, the school is not moving up graduation or excusing classwork early.
We apologize for the error.
