1 PM: City of Cleveland, FBI and Chief of Police hold briefing on upcoming presidential debate

CLEVELAND — Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, Chief of Police Calvin Williams and FBI Special Agent in Charge Eric Smith will give an update on plans surrounding the upcoming presidential debate.

Representatives from the U.S. Secret Service and the Ohio National Guard are expected at the briefing.

The presidential debate will be held on Sept. 29 at the Samson Pavilion, on the Clinic's Health Education Campus. The last general election presidential debate held in Cleveland was in 1980.
