The latest Cleveland smash and grab damaged a Metro PCS and hurt an elderly and disabled transportation business.

Crooks nabbed a transport van from Angels on Wheelz. Cleveland police still aren't sure what else they got away with.

Angels on Wheelz owner, Charmaine Nix, told News 5 the truck that was stolen is one of her five vehicles and she's already been forced to lay off a driver.

Nix called the theft and the smash and grab devastating on several levels.

People who have a tough time getting around, rely on Angels on Wheelz for doctors appointments, errands, or a ride to church.

"They really depend on it," Nix said.

Nix told News 5 she was totally shocked when she saw that one of her vans was used to drive through a Cleveland Metro PCS.

"How can you be so heartless to do that?"

Nix said she had to tell more than a dozen regular customers goodbye and is struggling with the idea of replacing the van, even if insurance steps in.

"I'm gonna take a big loss with this," she said.

Cleveland Police are investigating, but there have been no arrests yet.
