News 5 has learned of another twist in the bumpy road for two Northeast Ohio car dealerships that abruptly closed up shop last month.
Airport Nissan and Nissan of Streetsboro are up and running again.
Last month, News 5 reported that the dealerships had closed their doors.
Confused customers would pull up to the dealerships, only to find that the doors were locked.
"I walked up to the door and there was a sign saying, 'until further notice, we're closed,'" customer Hilaria Wilson told News 5 at the time.
The current owner, Automax, reopened both a little over a week ago.
The airport location on Brook Park Road is being operated by the Bernie Moreno Group, which partnered with Automax to temporarily run the dealership.
Dan Musa, General Manager at Airport Nissan, says the Bernie Moreno Group plans to purchase that location.
Between both dealerships, 140 people lost their jobs.
Musa said they are waiting for the deal to close and then will look to hire more workers to get the dealership up and running at full speed.
It's still unclear what will happen with the Streetsboro dealership.
