Police are investigating a robbery that took place Wednesday around 1:19 p.m. at the Walmart Supercenter at 3200 Atlantic Blvd.
Police said a 65-year-old woman was unloading groceries into her car. When she was walking the cart back to the cart rack with her purse on her shoulder, three suspect knocked her to the ground and stole her purse with force.
The woman described the suspects to police as both being black men. One suspect was 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 lbs., and had a slim build. One robber wore a gray jacket, black pants, and black and teal shoes. The second suspect wore a gray sweatshirt with red letters, tan shorts and white shoes.
The victim had no description for the third suspect, police reported, except that the suspect was in a car.
The woman was not taken to the hospital, police said.
