Akron police are investigating a shooting inside the Wilbeth Arlington Homes housing development.
According to police, 23-year-old Carlton Stafford was shot following an argument in the 800 block of Eller Avenue just after midnight.
He was taken to Akron City Hospital with serious injuries.
Police blocked off a large section of the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority development. newsnet5.com saw investigators searching the area for evidence.
The suspect was only described to police as a black male.
