A 19-year-old woman was struck in the face by a bullet during a shooting in Akron Monday night.
Police were called to the 900 block of Dover Avenue around 8 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they saw a house with shattered glass windows and bullet holes in the walls.
A man at the home told police a 19-year-old woman had been struck in the face by a bullet. She had been transported to Akron City Hospital by a friend.
Police say her injuries do not appear to be life threatening. Authorities are following up on information about a possible suspect.
