AKRON, Ohio — A 41-year-old man was found fatally shot Wednesday on Akron’s West Side.
According to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office, the man was found in the front yard of a home in the 1100 block of Orlando Avenue at around 5:20 p.m.
Authorities said residents heard gunshots before the man was found.
The man was shot multiple times. He was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.
His identity has not been released by authorities.
