Passengers rob, use stun gun on Akron taxi driver

A taxi driver was assaulted and robbed by two passengers she picked up in Akron Wednesday night, authorities said. 

According to Akron police, the 31-year-old driver picked up two people on the 800 block of Kenmore Boulevard around 11:30 p.m., and drove to an unknown location at their request.
When they arrived, one of the suspects used a stun gun on the taxi driver and took her belongings, police said.
The incident is under investigation, police said.
