AKRON, Ohio — The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in identifying three men and a woman who entered a closed banquet area at Pick’s at Portage Lakes and began drinking beer and liquor without permission.

On Saturday, November 30 at about 1:47 a.m., two men who authorities say appear to be in their early 20s arrived at Pick’s, located at 530 Portage Lakes Drive in Akron, driving a late-model silver vehicle with a sunroof.

The men entered the closed banquet area through an unlocked door, then went upstairs, according to Facebook post from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. They were joined by another man, and all three began consuming beer and liquor.

Surveillance video released by the sheriff’s office shows one man entering the room at about 1:50 a.m. and excitedly jumping around the dance floor while the other man appears to try to quiet him down.

All three men are seen on camera raiding what appears to be a liquor closet and pouring themselves drinks at the room’s bar.

At one point, one of the men appears to be taking selfie photos with his cell phone.

An unidentified woman can be seen joining the group at about 2:10 a.m.

Before the group leaves, at least one man puts a full liquor bottle in his pants, presumably to smuggle it out.

None of these Einsteins apparently realized they were on camera.

The sheriff’s office requested that anyone with information on the identity of any of the subjects to contact them at 330-643-2181.
