Police are investigating multiple thefts involving spare tires in the Canton area.
According to Canton police, Honda CR-V and Jeep Liberty tires are most frequently targeted, since they have exposed full-size spares.
The thefts are mostly taking place overnight, between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., police said. So far, eight reports have been made.
Authorities say residents from all over the city have been victims, but people who park on the street are more likely to be targeted.
Canton police are asking people with exposed spares to make the tires less accessible to thieves.
