Akron police are looking for a possible serial robber, who may have hit as many as seven businesses in the the city over the last few weeks.

He carries a silver handgun and wears a glove on his left hand.
The latest robbery was at the LoanMax at 1340 Tallmadge Avenue around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Employees said the suspect, armed with his gun, went into the loan store, walked behind the counter and demanded money. He got away with more than $1,000.
He also robbed a customer inside before fleeing on foot, police said.
The suspect is a light-complexioned black male, between the ages of 18 and 25 and about 6-foot, 8-inches tall. He was wearing a black do-rag over his face, a long black sleeve t-shirt, black pants and a white glove.
Police believe the man involved in the LoanMax robbery could also be involved in six others in the area:
- July 9: Metro PCS, 969 Copley Road
- July 9: Video Time Video, 2084 East Avenue
- July 11: Metro PCS, 1291 Grant Street
- July 12: Family Dollar, 1031 Kenmore Blvd
- July 18: Family Dollar, 1750 South Main
- July 19: Family Dollar, 19 North Arlington
