Three people were injured in a shooting at an Akron barbershop Thursday.
According to Akron police, the shooting happened about 11 a.m. at the RP Blade Academy Barbershop on West Exchange Street.
A 20-year-old man walked into the barbershop and started yelling at another man who was getting his hair cut.
The man who was getting his hair cut pulled out a gun and shot the man who was yelling at him in the torso. Two other people were also shot. A 17-year-old boy was shot in the ankle and a 49-year-old man was hit in the shoulder, police said.
Police did not release the name of the shooter or those who were shot.
Police described the shooter as a light to mid-complexion black man between 20-30 years old, 5'6 and 140 pounds with a one-inch afro. The man was wearing black glasses (vintage), blue designer jeans with cuts on the front and gray underwear.
Workers across the street at a dealership said the barbershop was packed at the time of the shooting. They did not hear gunshots but saw people running from the building.
