Police are looking for the men responsible for shooting a woman three times at her home in Canton.

The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment in the 500 block of 11th Street NW.

According to police, 27-year-old Christinia McKeaver answered a knock on her door to find two black males outside.

The men went inside the home and became engaged in an altercation with McKeaver, police said. It is unclear whether McKeaver let them in or they forced their way in.

During the altercation, one of the men pulled out a gun and shot McKeaver.

She fled out the door and was shot two more times outside.

McKeaver was transported to Mercy Medical Center with non life-threatening gunshot wounds to her buttocks and torso area.

McKeaver told police she did not know the suspects.

They are described as two black males between the ages of 20 and 25. One of the men has light-colored skin and is about 5-foot 10-inches tall. He was wearing a black jacket and red hat. The other man was dark-skinned, about 5-foot 5-inches tall, wearing a black jacket.

The men fled in a silver vehicle.
