A Canton woman arrested in May for allegedly trying to remove her boyfriend's testicles during a tussle inside their home has been indicted.
On May 27, Jamie M. Gammel, 39, got into a physical altercation with her boyfriend at their Canton home, according to a police report. During the fight, Gammel allegedly punched her boyfriend in the face and caused serious harm to his genital area.

The victim required medical treatment for the injuries, the report said.
On June 29, Gammel was indicted on felonious assault and domestic violence charges. She is scheduled to appear in Stark County Common Pleas Court on July 16 at 8:30 a.m.
