1 dead, 1 injured after shooting in Cleveland

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another injured.

The shooting happened around 11:45 p.m. in the 9500 block of Sophia Avenue.

Police said they learned on scene that a rap video was being filmed, when shots were fired.

A 26-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 21-year-old man was dropped off at St. Vincent Charity Hospital and then transported to Metro Hospital with multiple gun shot wounds.

Police said that preliminary information indicates that the 26-year-old shot the 21-year-old, and then the 26-year-old was shot by another person.
