A Cleveland man was killed, after being shot by two men on Saturday afternoon.

It happened on Cleveland’s west side at Spruce Court Apartments.

Cleveland Police said a man was shot in a hallway and suffered a gunshot wound to his chest.

He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he died.

Police said the men took the victim’s gun and vehicle, which police found at West 65th Street and Colgate Avenue.

Two men, who were sitting in the car, were arrested, but it’s not known at this time if they had anything to do with the shooting.

The victim’s fiancé told News 5 that the victim is Ledarrius Deshun Howze, 25, of Cleveland.

She said she believes Howze was walking back to his car after visiting his sister when he was killed.

Howze leaves behind three children under the age of five years old.

His fiancé said they were getting married September 23.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Cleveland Police.
