A statue of baby Jesus and his crib were stolen from a Nativity scene outside of a Solon church Tuesday, police reported.
Solon police said officers responded to the Church of the Resurrection, located at 32001 Cannon Rd., for a theft report.
When police arrived, a church representative said sometime between the evening of Jan. 3 and Jan. 5, an unknown suspect(s) removed the statue and crib without permission.
The representative told police the stolen items were estimated to be between $800 and $1,000.
Police have no suspects at this time.
