CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating after a child was shot and killed on the city's East Side.
The shooting happened in the 3100 block of East 94th Street at 1:30 p.m.
An EMS spokesperson said the child was transported to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, where he later died.
EMS said the boy was 8 years old but police later said the child was 12.
Police said they are investigating but appears the shooting may have been accidental.
