CLE receives grant from DOJ for RNC security

The City of Cleveland announced Friday that it received a grant for the Republican National Convention that will aid in funding security planning.

According to the city, the National Special Security Event grant will provide support to Cleveland for "law enforcement expenditures and related security costs, including necessary personnel and equipment costs, needed to implement the security plan for the convention."
