Posted

The City of Cleveland held a briefing at 7 p.m. regarding the Republican National Convention and the good news was that there have been no arrests from protests so far during the convention.

Mayor Frank Jackson and Police Chief Calvin Williams did not attend the Tuesday evening briefing.

Officials said there were no arrests at the protests so far. There have been five arrests this week for "minor things"--two on Monday and three Tuesday morning.

The city said it is trying to work with the people involved in the protests.
