Cleveland bomb squad called after grenades found with pins in them

The Cleveland bomb squad is responding to a second call within just a few hours on Thursday after a man reportedly found two grenades with pins still in them.

According to police, the grenades were found at a location on the 3990 block of East 146th Street.

Earlier in the afternoon, the bomb squad responded to the 5220 block of Superior Avenue for a suspicious package left on top of a mailbox. No threat was found and the area was cleared around 4:30 p.m.
