A 47-year-old Cleveland man has been charged after he allegedly performed oral sex on a dog, according to court records.
Scott R. Turner was charged with sexual conduct with an animal, a misdemeanor of the second-degree.
Ohio outlawed having sex with animals after Senate Bill 331 was passed in March.
According to an affidavit, Turner was watching the dog for another person in May when the act occurred.
Court records show Turner wrote a letter admitting what he did to the animal.
According to court records, Turner pleaded guilty to multiple charges of rape in 2003. He served 12 years and was released in 2015.
Turner is scheduled to appear in court on October 5.
