Cleveland police are looking for a man accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend's house and sexually assaulting her last week.

Billy J. Tinker, 25, has been charged with rape, aggravated burglary, kidnapping and felonious assault.

On Feb. 16, around 3:44 a.m., police responded to the 3160 block of West 56th Street after receiving a call about a domestic disturbance. When authorities arrived, they found the victim with a swollen and bloody face.

The police report states Tinker broke into the victim's house by picking a lock and then hid in the bathroom until she walked in.

When the woman entered the bathroom, Tinker hit her in the face and attempted to "pop" her eyeballs out of her head, the report states.

Court documents say Tinker sexually assaulted the victim, bit her several times and then strangled her until she passed out. Afterwards, Tinker took the woman's keys and stole her car.

The woman was treated at a nearby hospital and received multiple stitches for her injuries.

Tinker's whereabouts are currently unknown.
