Cleveland police are looking for a driver who allegedly struck a pedestrian on Fulton Road Tuesday, leaving her with severe injuries.
According to police, a 31-year-old woman was crossing Fulton Road within the lines of the crosswalk around 2:45 p.m. when a maroon Chrysler LHS turned off Clark Avenue onto Fulton Road, striking the woman.
The driver then pulled into a nearby Marathon gas station, 'briefly' observed the scene and then drove away, according to police.
The license plate of the car was hidden by snow but the driver was described as a white female with light hair.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 216-623-5290.
