Cleveland's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is going to make some additions and upgrades to its facility.
The Rock Hall confirmed it would be adding a "Long Live Rock" sign in the front of the museum, a new outdoor cafe, a larger outdoor stage, and a "Rock Box" art project involving sculptures that will line downtown Cleveland and play snippets from Hall of Famers.
"This activates our plaza and creates a communal space on the Lakefront. It's the next step in a long term plan to transform the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and we look forward to live music outside this summer," said Greg Harris, President & CEO of the Rock Hall.
The Rock Hall said it met with the Flats design committee on Thursday. They expect most of the work to be completed before the Republican National Convention in July. The plans will be taken to the City Planning Commission on Friday.
